I plan for 45 minutes per service. We always add a 15-30 minute buffer period at the end of the timeline which allows for any necessary touch-ups.
We go based on the photographers arrival time and plan accordingly. The rule of thmb is to have the bridal party ready 2 hours prior to cermeony.
i.e. Six bridal party services(hair and makeup) with a ready time of 2 p.m. would begin styling at 9 a.m.
The saying "dirty hair styles better" is not true! Greasy hair can weigh down a curl and affect your hairs volume. I reccommend washing and blow drying smooth the night before. Blow dry service is not included in hair styling price!
Our prices include up to 25 miles round trip from stylist home and $0.50 cents per mile thereafter, per stylist.
All Saturday services require a minimum of 3 services to book.
Yes! Although I do have a minimum of $400.
If she's wanting to wear her natural curls she should style her hair like normal, avoiding any products that may leave a cast or flake like gels and hairsprays and arrive with dry hair. If she does not want to wear her natural curls she should blow dry smooth the night before.
I recommend extensions to 99% of my brides, it really adds the volume and fullness you see on Pinterest. I don't provide extensions but I recommend going on Amazon or Tik Tok shop and buying some inexpensive clip in human hair extensions. I personally love the Goo Goo Hair brand.
Tell everyone on the timeline to be in the getting ready room 15-30 minutes before their service time. Everyone receiving services should be in something easy to remove I.e. a robe, zip up, button down. Everyone should have dry, clean hair and the AC should be turned down. (Hot tools and body heat can heat up a room very quickly)
Ideally 4-6 weeks before your wedding. This ensures your hair color is close to what its going to be on wedding day and allows time for any changes. I recommend bringing all accessories you will be wearing on wedding day to your trial, I.e. veil, hair pins, bows, extensions.
